Our client, a large offshore contractor has a requirement for an Electrical Engineer for work on a number of large platform topside design and modification projects.
You will have previous experience working on similar projects, ideally for one of the large offshore contractors. Offshore surveys may be required so an up to date offshore survival certificate and medical would be an advantage.

Electrical Design Engineer, Houston, EPC, contract, refinery

Our client, a major EPC based in Houston, are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer to work on major oil and gas projects out of their Houston Head Office. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years experience in the Oil and gas industry, working within large EPC or Operator companies in a similar Engineering role.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years experience in the field of electrical design work within the Oil and Gas industry, with particular experience in the area of refineries being a major advantage. The candidate must have an in depth knowledge of the following areas;
The national electrical code - 15KV, 5KV and 600V Power Distrubution System Design - Electrical Hazards area classification plans & details - Detail design of electrical one line diagrams, schematics, grounding, power & Lighting plans - Microstation, Drawing Manager, Equipment Modeling & EERaceway - Field Construction Support
A bachelors degree in Engineering with at least 7 years of related experience in the Oils and Gas industry is a pre-requisite for any applicants to these vacancies, as is a high level working knowledge of all mainstream industry IT packages. These positions will be on a 12 month contract basis with competitive rates of pay available for the successful candidate.
